The BMI widget is an easy-to-implement tool that allows BMI affiliates (individuals and projects) to directly sell coverage policies and raise coverage liquidity through their own channels, all in exchange for a commission. The commission is up to 20% of the premium paid by the policyholders.

  • The Bridge Mutual widget is an HTML iFrame that can be embedded into any decentralized application.

  • The widget uses methods the SDK provides: Buy Coverage, Purchase Policy, and Get the list of active purchased policies.

  • Users, however, still have to visit the Bridge Mutual platform to receive interest, stake BMIxCover and claim policy. The widget has a short description and a link to the platform.

  • Potential partners can get a share to a referral address for each insurance policy sold within the project ecosystem via widget, given that an admin whitelists them.

  • Partners can choose any number of particular products (policy) to sell, given that their respective pools exist in Bridge Mutual protocol.

  • To embed the Bridge Mutual widget, partners must generate unique HTML with provided referral addresses and chosen policies to sell within their platform.
