# Types of coverage

Below you'll find information on what's covered by Bridge Mutual.

[Smart Contract Coverage](/bridge-mutual/what-is-covered/smart-contract.md) is protection against the loss of assets caused by a hack, exploit, or other type of attack against a protocol, comprised partially or entirely of smart contracts, where you had assets.\

[De-pegging Coverage](/bridge-mutual/what-is-covered/de-pegging.md) is protection against an asset, usually a stablecoin, de-pegging from its intended value.

[Custodian Coverage](/bridge-mutual/what-is-covered/custodian.md) is protection against the loss or denial of assets being held by a trusted custodian, such as centralized exchanges, banks, and other service providers.
